There’s something about strawberry milkshakes, despite containing loads of goodness from strawberries, that makes me feel like they’re unhealthy. Maybe because I’m thinking of the huge, milky, sugary and processed strawberry flavoured drinks you get in cafes and diners. But that stigma has to end.
Strawberries are amazing! Packed full of anti-oxidents and fibre for optimal health, energy and amazing skin. This recipe is the same as making a regular smoothie, just put all the ingredients into a blender and whizz up, pour and enjoy!
Ingredients -Makes 1 large glass/2 medium glasses
1 small punnet of strawberries
6 fresh mint leaves
Plant Milk (enough to just cover the berries in the blender, approx. 200ml)
Optional: 2 handfuls of raspberries
